MARJAN PULADVAND x ANDERSON
“Growing up in Tehran, I was always drawn to artistic visuals, mysterious movies and colors but never knew how to bring my interest into practice. I got incredibly fascinated with photography and different print techniques with my hands. I loved the laboratory and bringing the photos into real life," says Milan-based visual artist, merchandiser and stylist Marjan Puladvand.
Throughout the past year's lockdowns, Marjan and Anderson have created a series of visual collage artworks combining photography with acrylic paints and various natural elements (date kernels, starfish + shells to name a few) to compose a striking series of three dimensional artworks.
"Anderson's photos inspired me a lot - both for the mood and the setting. They gave me a sense of surrealism and mystery. Sometimes his photos don’t look like just photographs - they seem to be telling a story. And I love this mood, especially in fashion.”
